Synopsis:
Po Luk (Lau Kong) suddenly passes away and leaves behind a will for his four children. As the oldest in the family and also the executor of his father's will, older brother Po Foon (Bobby Au-Yeung) urgently summons his three younger siblings back to the family house. According to the will of their deceased father, the four siblings need to live together for nine months before the family house can be sold.
Older Sister Po Yan (Joyce Tang) ignores her Mainland Chinese husband Mui Chiu (Tsui Wing)'s objection and brings her daughter back to Hong Kong. The greedy brother Po Yue (Jonathan Cheung) and his snobby wife Yu Fa (Koni Lui) also report back at the family house almost immediately. Even the youngest brother Po Yee (Bob Cheung) who was on working holiday overseas hurries back home upon receiving the news.
The siblings start to quarrel after living together for awhile. At the same time, Po Foon finds out about a ghost couple, Bak Wah (Bowie Wu) and Yi Lan (Law Lan), who have been haunting the house for years. The two ghosts often try to help solve the Po family's problems using their powers but they always end up causing more troubles for them instead. With the old house needing repairs done, Po Foon looks for handywoman Chu Chan Chan (Nancy Wu) for help. However, the two don't seem to see each other eye to eye. Since then, Chu Chan Chan has formed a lasting bond with the Po family. Surprisingly, she also finds a mysterious cure for her insomnia problem that she has struggled with for a long time....
