Synopsis:
Season 1: Episodes 1-39 end
Sakamichi Onada is a wimpy high school freshman who loves anime. He initially wants to enter the anime club, but winds up joining the cycling club after meeting two classmates who are already famous cyclists. He undertakes the grueling training to compete in races, and discovers his own hidden talent in cycling.

Season 3: Episode 1~25
In 1944, 18-year-old Suzu, working for her grandmother's small family business of Nori (edible sea weed) cultivation, is told by her parents that an unknown young man proposes marriage to her. The man named Shūsaku lives in Kure City[b], which is a large Naval port city and 15 miles away from Hiroshima City, as a navy civilian. Suzu decides to marry him and moves to join Shūsaku's family in Kure. When Suzu adjusts to her new life in Kure, the threat of Pacific War is approaching the Japanese daily lives.

Wataru Watanabe’s Yowamushi Pedal (Yowapeda) manga follows Sakamichi Onoda, an otaku at Sohoku High School. He loves anime and games so much, that he would ride his commuter bicycle to and from Tokyo’s Akihabara shopping district in a 90-kilometer round trip over steep slopes after school. Onoda’s life changes when he encounters his school’s cycling team, and he ends up joining the competitive sport of bicycle racing.
