Synopsis:
Four men and women have a “chance” encounter – each of them on a shallow downward slope of life without ever having reached a peak or fulfilled their dreams. They
form a quartet and live together in Karuizawa. But there is a secret behind the “chance” encounter... Maki (Matsu) and Tsukasa (Matsuda) arrive at a cottage in Karuizawa where they
find Suzume (Mitsushima) and Yutaka (Takahashi) waiting for them. They are all musical performers who decided to form a quartet after first meeting in a karaoke booth in Tokyo.
When arriving to perform live in a restaurant, the quartet come across Benjamin Takita, a pianist with “9 months to live”. Then suddenly Maki comes up with a wild idea...
