Synopsis:
Doku Tomato Satsujin Jiken revolves around a fictional variety show called "SMAP Sekai no Yasai wo Kurau", the show announcer Oshita Yoko died after consuming tomatoes that turned out to be poisonous on a SMAP variety show, and the members of SMAP are suspects. Detective Hiraizumi leads the investigations to find out who really killed Oshita. The first of its kind, Doku Tomato Satsujin Jiken is a dokiri (surprise/prank) drama featuring the members of SMAP.
While the drama is a mystery, it naturally incorporates element of comedy as well.
