Synopsis:
Fujioka Kota (Ono Satoshi) who lives in a local town in the countryside dropped out of university, has nothing to recommend himdelf and no passion to offer too. He is typical, ordinary young man. He has somehow lived, surrounded by a loving family.
His father Kenjiro (Miura Tomokazu) is a pillar of strenght who always watches over him; his kind-hearted mother Yasuko (Kishimoto Kayoko) takes care of the family's health through homemade dishes; and his older sister Koharu (Miura) is the life of the family. There is something that Kota finally thinks of trying. It is cooking. He wants to keep people with delicious food that he prepares. So he starts working at a restaurant as an apprentice cook.
His relationship with his girlfriend Tanabe Etsuko (Kimura Fumino) is also progressing well. Then one day, Kota suddenly collapses and is sent to hospital. He is diagnosed by the doctor as having malignant lymphoma. In other word, cancer of the blood...
