Synopsis:
The story begins with a young novel writer, Yan Dong (played by Teddy Chin) who faces obstacles in his writing career when he published his first spiritual and supernatural genre novel. He is being criticized all the time for his work. His manager Bao Jin (played by James Wong) has no choice but to take drastic action in order to fix the situation. Thus, Bao Jin challenges Yan Dong for his second novel. He dares Yan Dong to go further into the unknown realm so he can compose a more believable novel of the said genre. He suggested Yan Dong to use all kinds of traditional customaries to open his ‘third’ eye in order to see spirits and ghosts, to have a real experience for more inspirations. How far will Yan Dong actually go in order to accomplish what is expected of him as a successful writer? Yan Dong begins his search of spirits and ghosts in a monastery. There, he met a girl, Shan Shan (played by Mindee Ong). Shan Shan is a rather mysterious girl who often kept to herself. This triggers Yan Dong’s curiosity further and leads him to want to know her even more. As he dwells further to open his ‘third’ eye, he begins to experience changes in his life. Unexplainable events begin to transpire and strange happenings somehow became more apparent. All these incidents disturb Yan Dong profoundly. And to further swell in such bizarre occurrences, Yan Dong found another disturbing fact about Shan Shan, a secret that is too grueling to grasp...
