Synopsis:
Shirakawa Jiro is a gifted writer and he has published 99 mystery novels with trickery magic as the theme. Ever since he had submitted his writing for a short story writing competition and won the grand prize, he has been writing non-stop. Now, he is under pressure to come out with his 100th novel, but is facing a writer's block. Three months past, he is still without any inspiration. In order to get fresh material for his book, he transforms himself into Aonuma Rio; a long-haired hunchback who mutters unintelligibly, but is excellent at getting information out of others. He came across the case of the "tulip murder" while surfing the net, and decides to use this as the theme for his 100th novel.
Beautiful Kahima Rika is Jiro's editor, and together with him they set out to unravel the mystery of the tulip murder.
